Nothing drives a being like hunger. His people only seen as terrors with teeth by their mortal enemies, Crooked Tooth finds himself following his prey for a reason other than food. As the realization dawns that a chance is presented to change the future of his people, he must make a choice between hunger and empathy. Will he help this mortal enemy of his people, or will he wait until she lays her eggs and feed?
